Kay and Clare clean the boat while the men train, bus and walk to Corbigny to collect our vans. It feels the 37° it is. The drive back from Corbigny goes to plan and it is a relief to discover that we all have a sense of 'coming home' when we get into the van. Just as well as we still have twelve weeks to go with it.
We decide to travel together towards Dijon and end up swimming in a reservoir and eating dinner there before finding a free aire at Sombernon. This is the Cote d'or wine region but we don't get to try that on this balmy evening.
