We head into the walled town to look at the village markets. The outlook over the river is lovely as is the shopping. We get ourselves sorted then prepare to drive to our next destination.
The weather is just awesome but today's unplanned adventure unfolds in surprising ways as we manage to loose Kay and Malcolm when we leave the carpark and turn in opposite directions. Quite a performance and in a way remarkable to have not happened so far in our travels. To cut a long story short we wait in Domme and they drive in the direction we had talked about going. Our phones and walkie talkies are not working reliably and we have to head into town a couple of times to try to send emails and messages amd confirm a plan. It's not until much later in the day that we decide to drive on. We finally find them parked in an Aire in Montreau, close to the banks of the Dordogne. They manage to find someone who helps them communicate with us using their phone. Phew! Quite a day wondering if we might not see each other until we come back to NZ in October!
