June 24: Goodbye Brittany... Hello Loire Valley

We're on a mission to move on to the Loire. We leave lovely Concarneau (didn't mention that fishing has been an important industry in this town for many years. Historically sardines have been hugely significant, now 200,000 tonnes of tuna are still processed each year).
Today there is a reasonable amount of driving and a little wasted time alomg the way. Our shopping trip at Auray does not go to plan as there is a power cut so we have to leave the items in the trolley that we had spent an hour collecting.
A brief stop for lunch near Lochmariaquer and we arrive at the free aire at St George sur Loire at dinner time. The girls play petanque and Kay and Clare revisit the supermarket experience. A lovely evening stoll for Tony and Clare through the village with such an elegant town hall.
