June 21: The Road to Huelgoat

Today we start with a baguette fresh from the mobile van visiting the campsite and we drive toward the sea. Along the way we take a diversion to Moncontour which has apparently been voted as Frances most beautiful village.
It's a medieval walled village. We wander for a bit then drive on to Morlaix. The town has a high viaduct running through it. No time to stop for long today... Instead we drive to the interior and stop at lovely Huelgoat. It has a small lake and forrest surrounding it.
We end up in a free aire. First we find a second hand bookshop with English books and the girls are delighted to have some new books to read.
The aire is a bit dusty but we're only there long enough to eat sleep and for the girls to build a hut with dad.
