August 17: Plitvicka National Park

You can't really say this place is undiscovered. There are formidable crowds and the walkways that weave through the 14 lakes that are linked by a series of waterfalls are heaving with people here to see this amazing place. Tony has an infection in his foot that is spreading since he first got it ten days ago, and since her first antibiotic, Clare has had weird pains and swelling in her feet. As a result the walk is not entirely blissful but it is an incredible place to see.
We pack up mid-afternoon and make the decision to dodge the highway to Zagreb and instead cruise back to the coast for a last taste of the beach. Sibinj is the lovely place we settle for. We park up metres from the beach, right next to another Burstner 55.
